Sharm El Sheikh sits at the southern tip of the Sinai Peninsula, making it the perfect destination for unforgettable adventures. With a wide range of Sharm El Sheikh excursions, you can explore world-famous marine parks, discover beautiful mangrove forests, enjoy breathtaking desert mountains, and visit the historic St. Catherine’s Monastery near Mount Sinai—all within easy reach of your hotel.

We are a local team, organising days out on the Red Sea since 1998. We do not sell hotels or flights. We plan your days, built around your hotel, your group and your budget. No deposit, pay on arrival. Here is what is genuinely around you, with real distances from Sharm El Sheikh airport.

The close ones (under 30 minutes)

Ras Mohammed National Park, 20 km south. Egypt’s first national park, where the Gulf of Suez meets the Gulf of Aqaba. The reef walls here drop hundreds of metres, and the water clarity is famous among divers worldwide. You can visit by boat for snorkelling or by jeep for the mangroves and the magic salt lake. With children, the boat version is the easier day.

Nabq Protected Area, 10 km north. The largest mangrove forest on the Sinai coast, with shallow lagoons, herons, and a shipwreck visible from the beach. Quieter than Ras Mohammed and a lovely half day if you want nature without a long drive.

Naama Bay and the old market. Not an excursion, but worth an evening. Ask us which nights are best for the Bedouin dinner in the desert; the stars away from the town lights genuinely surprise people.

The half-day drives

Dahab, 90 km north. A former fishing village turned laid-back seaside town, about an hour and a half by road along the Gulf of Aqaba. The Blue Hole is here, along with a promenade of relaxed cafes where the mountains of Saudi Arabia sit across the water. Sharm and Dahab are close cousins with completely different personalities; seeing both in one holiday is easy.

The big one: St Catherine and Mount Sinai

St Catherine’s Monastery, around 210 km northwest. One of the oldest working monasteries on Earth, sitting beneath Mount Sinai (Mount Moses), around 220 km from Sharm. Many guests climb the mountain overnight to watch sunrise from the summit, then visit the monastery when it opens. It is a long, cold, unforgettable night. We will tell you honestly whether it suits your group: the climb is real, and children under 10 rarely enjoy it.

What about the sea trips?

Daily boat trips run to the reefs around Tiran and Ras Mohammed. Wild dolphins are sometimes seen on these routes, and we say “sometimes” deliberately: they are wild animals, not a show, and no honest operator promises them. We do not offer captive dolphin shows, and we would gently suggest you skip them wherever you see them advertised.

How booking works
